Why has it taken me so many years to find a site called Slashdot? Over the last week I have been religiously using it for serving my geeky needs.
I can almost say that every story on the frontage is interesting in its own way (the discussion section of each story is also something to look at). And they make for great submissions on social news websites

I am I crazy? Slashdot has been around for, what, 10 years or something? (Haha)

Glad you found Slashdot. I went by their office in Michigan several years ago with a friend to say hi. It was an interesting place with an old NeXT cube sitting on one of the desks.
Slashdot was in many ways the forerunner to sites like Digg and Reddit.
