My name is Adam Fuhrer. I am a total social news enthusiast. On reddit. On digg.

I decided to start a wordpress blog, so I could basically throw into words, what goes on in my brain

Other blogs I write for: 10e20 (social media). And a soon to be writer on Desktop Vibes (tech in general).

I plan (once a week) to round-up some of the coolest, note worthy stories. That I find either in my RSS reader, or on Digg/Reddit.

Intro to social news:

Social news has been on a steady growth over the last couple years. And, I think it will increase even greater over the next couple years. I personally have never really opened a newspaper over the last year, Digg and Reddit have been my so-called newspapers. And I truly don’t think I have missed anything.

News: The homepage of Digg and Reddit can serve me up my news at any given time. If a story falls off the main page, I can always go to the top in 24 hours section.

Comics: I always loved the comics section (Dilbert being my favorite) of a newspaper, but now that there is a thing called RSS (which brings all the strips to me in one simple click) there is no need for that section. Not to mention a thing called a “webcomic”. (XKCD, Dinosaur Comics)
